Sometimes, It is good to know where you stand.
Nowadays, accessibility is the main key for studying, learning and valuing anything, including history.
Today, most people focus on the future, which is blessed, but not knowing the past may cause disasters to happen again.

In the search of finding the right image we particularly focus on something that happened in the past and also photo that contain something that can give us a hint where that photo was taken, such as street templates, buildings, signs etc.
using mapping services, for the exact same spot the photo was shot.
Sometimes the photo comes with lots of information about the location and it’s an easy find for us.
Unfortunately, sometime it’s very irritating and can take quite some time to find the exact place especially in places where the whole street looks the same or even for example if we look for a building that doesn’t exists anymore.
We take into account the boundaries of the image, the height from which it was taken and the angle.
Then we parallel our photo to the photo from the past to make sure it fits perfectly as precisely as we can get.
